It's been in the US criterium scene that I have enjoyed most of my cycling success and if it weren't for guys like Gene Dixon who continue to dream big and push the sport to new heights, a lot of the opportunities that I've enjoyed wouldn't have been there to begin with.
There are changes to the USA Crits series next year which will see an exclusion of Pro Continental Teams and a greater focus on Continental and Amateur squads to liven up the racing and I'm sure it will do just that.
