BIKES: TV time = KaBOOM!

This past Tuesday, BIKES 2013 started up with an awesome visit at Whistler's Spring Creek Elementary. It was my first visit in ten months so I was testing out a few new ideas and now have a better idea of which components I'd like to incorporate in future sessions. One of the special elements was the showing of an amazing video filmed by Manual For Speed from Team Exergy's 2012 team training camp that has yet to be released to the public. Needless to say, it was a success. I'm sure it will be released soon so stay close to your MFS updates for 90 seconds of wow!

A few days later Global TV sports broadcaster Jay Janower invited me to the Saturday morning show and we discussed BIKES for 5-6 minutes. It wasn't long after that that my list of interested schools quadrupled Now it is just a matter of coordinating my visits with all these awesome teachers and students before I leave Canada for warmer weather on October 18th.

I am also in the process of sending out proposals to various sponsors as I search for a title sponsor, camera product sponsor and other organisations interested in an affiliation with the BIKES 2013 brand. If you are interested, you can download the sponsorship proposal here.

Check out the new photos!

Next visit scheduled: October 10th @ Spring Creek Elementary Gr.3
Proposed Visits: October 15th @ Nanaimo, BC           (2 schools)
October 16th @ Port Coquitlam, BC (2 schools)
                          October 17th @ Abbotsford, BC       (1 school w/ 3 classes)

If you are a fan of the BIKES 2013 message and would like to help get it off the ground, I hope to be set to accept your kind donation via PeerGivingIdeas or another alternative in the coming days.
