Finding Optimal Nutrition

Learn More @ FoodnSport
Since November 2010, I've been on a health and nutrition journey to heal my asthma that has plagued my athletic potential since the age of 4. After many changes, many mistakes and many lessons learned, I came across a high carb, high fruit, vegan lifestyle this past spring; however I didn't do that right either! But since mid July, when I finally sat down and read the book, I learned exactly what I needed to do to make this lifestyle work. Since then I've experienced incredible changes in my performance and general health. Yes it is too short a time for me to act as a representative of this lifestyle, but if you are interested you should learn more yourself. Watch Dr. Graham's short video now.

Since I have only talked about this on my coaching website briefly, I wanted to bring this information to you . The video below is a concise but detailed explanation about why this lifestyle works. There is no doubt that the human body is extremely adaptable and many diets work for many people. You can live on water for 30 days or more if supervised for crying out loud, but if you want to use your body and mind to achieve maximal performance, ya gotta eat the foods we are designed to eat.

Key concepts:

1) fresh, ripe, raw, organic fruits and vegetables
2) high carbohydrate, low fat/protein, low sodium
3) eat enough! 3000 raw calories is less than 3000 cooked calories
4) high water intake via foods
5) sugar, water, sleep
6) Your mind and body operate on sugar, so stop feeding it fat and protein
7) Milk is good for you, but don't give it to your child if they are sick....what? WAKE UP!
8) Caffeine-free, cacao-free, drug-free living

Everyone asks me where I get my protein from? That is when I ask them where they get their fat from!
Meat: 50% fat, Skim Milk: 20% fat. Dairy creates mucus and clogs your lungs. Meat creates inflammation in your 30 foot long colon (carnivores colon's are very very short!).  GOLD, Jerry GOLD!

Free you mind, eat fruit and vegetables, be the change you want to see in the world.
